Fashion Insider | Megan Park

Megan Park’s designs are so beautiful it’s just impossible to hide them away in your wardrobe. The Australian designer's skill lies in mixing the ancient traditions of hand embroidery with the cuts, shapes and fabrics of today to create heirlooms of the future. Sumptuous beading, embroidery and hand printing combine to offer designs that have been embraced by the fashion press and are stocked in some of the world’s finest boutiques.

After studying fashion design, Megan worked as a textile designer in Melbourne, before moving to London to design textiles for the likes of Givenchy, Dries van Noten and Kenzo. In 1997, Megan launched her own label in London with an eponymous collection of evening bags and scarves, which has now grown to include womenswear and accessories. Megan recently followed her heart home to Australia from where she continues to travel the globe gaining inspiration from places such as the Parisian flea markets, street vendors in Hong Kong, and the bead markets of Old Delhi.
