We love Camper kids!

With three awesome children's boutiques (Chelsea, Islington, and St John's Wood), Igloo Kids Clothing have got to be one of the best kid's outfitters in the UK. They have recently joined our directory and we just love their collections.

We particularly love their range of Camper shoes, so here is some more information on the Camper brand and some rather cute pictures of the Winter'13 shoes available at Igloo now:

The family behind the Camper brand began their business over 120 years ago. In 1877 the founding cobbler traveled to the UK to research the manufacturing methods of the industrial revolution.  When he arrived back in Spain he brought together his new found industrial knowledge with the best shoe makers of Mallorca. The company have always remained true to these beginnings – using cutting edge manufacturing without forsaking high quality craftsmanship.

The Camper brand was not officially born until 1975; its first Barcelona shop opened in 1981 and international expansion began in 1992. Their recent expansion has been rapid as their exceptionally high quality products and unique style have found worldwide fans.

For a brand that’s roots were in rural Spain (and remain there) the shoes are remarkably urban.  They are quirky and stylish - managing to be cool without being slaves to short term fashions. No one else makes shoes that look like Campers. City dwellers absolutely love these shoes because you can walk in them all day and they remain incredibly comfortable as well as being long lasting.

Camper use top quality leathers that are light weight but water resistant and that naturally flex with your foot without losing support. They include a top quality replaceable insole as standard, leather linings and extra cushioning. All these features make these shoes great for kids.  The shoes fit and support growing feet and there are lots of models with practical Velcro fastenings. Their designs are quirky and fun so kids love them. They are built to withstand walking, running, playing – whatever your kids can throw at them!
