Silk Scarves: We also spotted these beautiful silk scarves on the same trip from another fabulous Spanish supplier. They are soft enough to enhance an outfit and big enough to wear as a sarong. £30.00 in unique prints and colours we have only 2 pieces per style/colour. In other words very limited!

Straw Baskets: The W&M day trip to Madrid to check out Skandal resulted in an order for these motif Stella Rittwagen leather handled baskets, £29.95.

Saint Tropez: Check out this cute sequin edged top in coral or baby blue, £44.99. Also an A-Line “crinkle”, lined 100% cotton dress in white, coral and black, what’s not to like about this shape? Also £44.99.

Amadoria Jewellery: Tasselled necklaces, £20, and friendship style bracelets ideal for layering, £7 in hot neon summer colours.

Sunglasses: Another new find for W&M, please welcome Komono from Belgium. This label ticks all our boxes offering style, quality and a great price-point plus we’re their first stockist in Surrey, £39.99 to £55.00. Their watch collection is also pretty impressive, watch out for an autumn arrival.

Diva Dresses: Coming very soon 2 stretchy, figure hugging and flattering dress shapes from Diva. You may have noticed Nigella Lawson is a bit of a fan, £89-£98.00 in navy and bright blue, perfect for that “special” occasion.

CINDERELAB:  W&M are running a competition on our Facebook page to win this beautiful and highly unusual “Peas in a Pod” necklace from CINDERELA.

So why don’t you hop over to the W&M Facebook page and have a go if you fancy your chances. They're planning to run more competitions on the FB page so it’s a worthwhile “like” if you get the drift.

Jacqui is 'model mum'

Glamorous mum and grandmother Jacqui Mason from Ferndown has been chosen by Bournemouth boutique Fab Frocks of Westbourne to be their official mother of the bride model.

The multi award-winning special occasion boutique launched a search to find a real mother of the bride or groom rather than a professional model to promote their wedding collections.

Jacqui, 54, entered the competition after being persuaded to submit her photo by her only daughter Rebecca who gets married this year.

Jacqui, who works as a part-time accounts assistant for her husband Glenn’s company Motorbitz, received the news on Mother’s Day.

Jacqui said: “ I couldn’t believe I had won! There’s been so much to prepare with my daughter getting married in September and my son also getting married in June – two weddings within the space of three months! I’d left sorting out myself to last but now I really don’t have to worry! Being a model has been a bit nerve-racking but I loved every minute of it!”

Jacqui experienced a makeover by A’Courts Hair Salon at Castlepoint followed by a professional photo shoot with Dorset wedding photographer Sophie Bowdler at The Lord Bute in Highcliffe. The shoot is being featured in a county wedding magazine. She also picked up a prize worth over £1000 with a designer suit from top Spanish designer Cabotine and Zeila, a handmade hat to match as well as shoes and handbag from award-winning shoe shop Doris and Daisy in Wimborne.
